History! A Lie!?

OK, here's a quote by Voltaire; "History is the lie commonly agreed upon." This basically means there are always two sides of the story. Depending on who you hear it from you will never get the same answers. For instance; if you ask the Germans about WWI and WWII they will probably say that they were trying to help the poor and some ridiculous reasons. (Nazi's) But from the U.S. view point, there were cruel, inhumane acts happening. Two people will never agree on the same instance.
